Dear Friends,

Just wanted to touch base with trips I've been on lately (see News/Events) and to update everyone on trips I am leading in 2010.

The big news is that I am now leading "Custom" winter trips in Yellowstone. These are small group trips of 4 photographers plus myself. We base out of West Yellowstone and spend 4 full days photographing in the park interior via snow coaches. (See January 2009's trip report!) Most of these trips are currently full but I still have one spot available on the March 8-13, 2010 trip. I will start taking names for 2011, please contact me to add your name to the list.

I am also leading trips into the Pryor Mountains of Montana for wild mustangs. Check out my wild horse photos and the write-up. These trips are limited to 1-2 photographers. Contact me if you have always wanted to photograph these icons of the west!

Another trip I have done many times is the trip to Katmai in Alaska for BEARS!!! I will be leading two trips this year. The June trip is currently full (it has been full for about a year) so I have added a late August 2010 trip. This trip will find us living off a boat and photographing bears fishing for salmon at several different streams. See the 2009 write-up. I currently have 6 spots open, so first come first served. Don't wait long as I expect this trip to fill quickly.

In the past year quite a number of photographers have taken advantage of my "One on One" trips. If you would rather not be part of a group photo shoot then contact me about leading you on a custom trip, just you and me in the field! It's a great opportunity to pick the brain of a full-time professional.
