What a great way to spend the winter! During January - March 2010 I spent five weeks leading photo tours in "Wonderland". This year the temperatures were mild and snow depth was minimal. Perfect for photography! Each group I led was lucky enough to view and photograph wolves along the Madison River or Norris Geyser Basin.

Wildlife photography was very good with wolves, a bobcat, bighorn, bison, elk, coyotes and trumpeter swan.

For the scenic photographers we had mountain scenics, waterfalls and thermal features including geysers, fumaroles, hot pools, and mud pots along with frost covered ghost trees.

I have started leading smaller groups of (4) photographers this year. So if you are looking for the intimacy of a small group setting this is your trip!
