2010 Katmai Bears - 2 Trips

Join Mike on a trip he has done many times with Chuck Keim of Coastal Outfitters for Brown Bears and other wildlife of Katmai NP, Alaska. We base off a boat (sleep, eat, travel) while looking for bears. We make use of a flat bottom skiff to approach and photograph bears either from the skiff or from shore. The June trip will concentrate on bears mating, mothers with young, and clamming at low tide. We will also spend considerable time with nesting bald eagles. The August trip (just added because of demand) will concentrate on bears fishing at salmon streams. This is a trip of a life time and many photographers do this trip more than once.
